Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and had 2 twin beds, but they were reasonably clean yet felt a bit old. The service was a letdown as the guy at the front desk on night shift was so rude, even though the doormen and housekeeping staff had a positive attitude. The location was superb, just 100 meters from a metro station and right in the heart of Shanghai's bustling Nanjing Road. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with high prices and an average quality compared to other hotels in China. Despite these drawbacks, the facilities were decent.
The hotel is in a very convenient location right on Nanjing Road, near many Muslim restaurants. The newly decorated rooms had a really musty smell on the 8th floor and were freezing cold, but the location is excellent for exploring the city.
The hotel had a good location with easy access to Nanjing Road and the subway station, surrounded by many Halal Muslim restaurants. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable but appeared old and not very clean. The service was lacking professionalism, with staff not speaking English well and showing little interest in helping guests. The dining experience was poor, and the staff were rude. On the positive side, the location was great and offered good value for the price.
The hotel is quite big, cozy, and clean, offering spacious rooms that are very comfortable despite not being a 5-star. The service, particularly at the front desk, lacked language diversity and friendliness, not living up to five-star standards. The location is the standout feature, being very convenient in the heart of Shanghai close to major attractions like The Bund and People Square station. The dining experience was disappointing with high prices and rude staff, but the facilities were decent.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was decently sized for being in the middle of the city, but the noise from building works outside was quite loud at times. The staff were friendly, but at times, they didn't seem too concerned about our well-being. The location was excellent, right on Nanjing Road, perfect for exploring the heart of Shanghai. The dining experience left something to be desired with high prices and empty plates at times. The facilities offered were good overall.
The hotel offers excellent and very comfortable rooms that are always clean and spacious, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic, right on the bustling Nanjing Road pedestrian street, making it ideal for exploring Shanghai's main attractions. The dining experience could be improved, but the facilities are top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was superb, with convenient access to shopping areas and local cuisine, but the service was lacking in friendliness and warmth. The dining experience left much to be desired, with limited and repetitive options, even though the rooms were relatively clean and deluxe. Overall, a stay with both highs and lows.
I absolutely loved the hotel! It's perfectly located right on Nanjing Road with easy access to shops and dining options. The room was clean and spacious, but I had some issues with the musty bathroom. The service was a bit lacking, with some impoliteness from staff. The dining experience was disappointing, with repetitive and overpriced options. Despite these downsides, the facilities were top-notch!
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had an old-style charm that some may find elegant but others too Victorian, although they were clean and spacious. The supposed non-smoking room had a lingering smell. The service varied from helpful and friendly to occasionally impolite or rude, especially with communication barriers. The location was excellent, close to transportation hubs and a cool bar nearby. The dining options were limited and pricey for what was offered.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The staff was helpful, but there were issues with the room. The location was convenient for exploring the city, but the noise from nearby construction was a downside.
